Creating Visual Identities That Break the Mold: A Fresh, Unique Approach for Frame Contemporary Art Finland
Discover how I crafted a unique logo and graphic elements that thrilled the client—fresh, current, yet never-before-seen design.
Frame Finland is a foundation by the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture. It promotes Finnish contemporary art abroad. They were extremely happy with our previous collaboration, so they asked me to design their global public Rehearsing Hospitalities programme’s logo and graphic elements. The brief was to create a visual identity that reflects a transformation process, hospitality, and transcendence.
Superb customer satisfaction and delivery despite the tight schedule
The schedule was very tight, but I was willing to go the extra mile. I relished the opportunity to work on a topic that is close to my heart: the arts. First, I did my research, sketched ideas, and tested variations. Once the design was approved, I polished the final version.
The client loved my design describing it as fresh and current, yet at the same time something that they had never seen before. The Head of Programme said that the visual image looks like a process just like the programme. It has an intentional unfinished feel and randomness that can evolve and therefore nails the brief.
Later, they asked me to design assets for the events. They were pleased with them as well.
Let’s discuss how I can elevate your brand with new, exciting designs.
